What's been biting at the pier the last week? I'll be fishing the pier for the first time Wed night and all day Thurs, any advice and guidance would be greatly appreciated. It's my B-day and I want to hook some table fare.

Sorry to reply SO late...hadn't logged on for a bit. I did very well, ton of macks, blues, a F-ing HUGE Snook on a pompano rig and 10 lb line. I'll post a pic! I went back the 3 more times since, never had a bad day there so far. Love it. Peace, chicken grease and tight lines for the new year!

hey guys.i just moved down to Okeechobee from JAX Beach..looking to fish ya'lls pier for the first time..wanting to know what is being caught right now and what kind of set ups..please let me know.

Last weekend there was plenty of Jack, mackerel, some king and if you can land them SNOOK. Greenies everywhere. As for setup, as long as its heavy line your good. Live or artificial will work. Heading out again this weekend.. Good luck and tight lines
